Since version 1.1.0, issuing partial or full refunds is a breeze. You can do it directly from the transactions panel, on the Subscription Details page of a given user. This feature is supported by Stripe and Paypal APIs, included on WP Ultimo, availability may vary when using third-party payment gateways.
Step 1. Go to the Subscription Details page
On the Subscriptions list, click on see details on the desired Subscription. This will redirect you to that Subscription’s management page (also see How to manage a Subscription).
Step 2. Issuing the Refund
On the Subscription Management screen, search for the transaction on the Billing History block. Every payment will have a “Refund” action available.
Clicking on that “Refund” link will display the Refund form, where you will be able to enter the amount you want to refund. Click the button “Issue Refund“. The response from the remote payment processor will be displayed in the button itself.
If everything goes well and the refund is successfully processed the new transaction should appear on the Billing History shortly.
