    What would a simple method of using this to add user first and last name fields and also a honeypot to prevent spam be?

      Hi, Oleg. I’m not sure I understand the question. Can you elaborate?

        Suppose I have registered the above code in the functions.php file.

        Now, when an account is created, I would like to receive a notification letter stating that a new account has been created. And I want this letter to contain the first name and last name of the client. How can I do it?

        I tried to add fields {{first_name}} and {{last_name}} to the letter. But it did not help.

          Hi, fumbic.

          Where are you creating this letter?

          The info from the fields get saved as user meta, so you can access them using the default WordPress functions get_user_meta(get_current_user_id(), ‘first_name’, true);

          Kind regards

    Is it possible to modify the current signup fields, i.e. change the label of “Site Title” or edit/remove the tooltips? Thanks!

    1. Arindo Duque

      Hi, Jessica.

      Yes, there is. For your specific example, you can use the wu_signup_site_title_tooltip filter to change the content:

      You can check other available filters on the /inc/class-wu-signup.php.
      If you want to modify more elements of the fields, you can filter the entire fields array, using the filters for each step. For example: wu_signup_fields_domain, wu_signup_fields_account.

      Hope that helps,

  3. Hi,

    Is it possible to add defaults to the text fields?

    It looks like you can in the code in inc/, but it doesn’t seem to be working for me.

    wu_add_signup_field(‘bt_extra_steps’, ‘acf_website_name’, 10, array(
    ‘name’ => ‘Plugins’,
    ‘type’ => ‘text’,
    ‘default’ => ‘default?’,
    ‘placeholder’=> ‘placeholder?’,

      Hi, Tom. This is, in fact, a bug. I have fixed it and it will be part of the next release. You’ll be able to use the default and placeholder parameters then.

      They should work, Jason.
      In any case, you can use the attributes array to add them. Something like:
