Just got WP Ultimo and planning my first network around it. I know how critical setting up properly is and need to make decisions on hosting on a non-existent budget.
Closte looks good but the lack of security on actual price per month is confusing me.

Just like to provide an update. We successfully moved over to Closte. Pricing is very much dependant on usage and specific plugins, ranging from 0.08 to 0.80 dollars per day. Network idles around 10HPI CPU and spikes up to 20+ if plugins are performing tasks or lots of visitors. Ram between 1200MPI and 2400MPI. Costing cant be fully estimated as every network is different but this is our personal experience. We have around 10 plugins on our network.2 months, 1 week ago DanielParticipant

In the end I went with Cloudways using DO, mainly for my own simplicity of having and set price, plus no sysadmin experience. Means I can focus attention on the design and getting the network set up properly with WP Ultimo.2 weeks, 3 days ago sluiParticipant
Thanks for sharing the info that you provided on Closte. When you talk about 0.08 to 0.80 per day, how are you framing this?
- For your entire multi-site network or is that for a single site
- Does it include HPI and MPI?
- When you provided HPI and MPI, is that based on a per month?
- How did you calculate cost for the CDN? Were you able to select which one?
I know that it would be difficult to estimate the cost per month on a site, but I wanted to get some idea from you on how you framed the numbers.
I would also like know more about your interactions with support? Is it only by support ticket?
